We are a local authority. How can Children’s Therapy help us?
We can support local authorities, schools, and educational settings by auditing and reviewing existing Occupational Therapy provision within mainstream schools, special schools, and specialist support centres.
Through information gathering, stakeholder consultation, and on-site visits, we evaluate current Occupational Therapy provision, identifying strengths, areas for development, unmet needs, and service priorities. We then provide a detailed report with practical recommendations and work collaboratively with you to design an effective Occupational Therapy service model that meets current demand while providing a framework for future growth and development.
Our approach helps ensure that Occupational Therapy services are evidence-based, sustainable, cost-effective, and aligned with the needs of pupils, staff, schools, and the wider educational community.

We provide professional supervision for qualified Occupational Therapists and have particular experience supporting newly qualified Occupational Therapists, school-based therapists, independent practitioners, and lone-working therapists.
We can also provide supervision for Occupational Therapy assistants and school staff delivering Occupational Therapy programmes within educational settings. Areas of specialist expertise include neurodiversity, sensory processing differences, developmental trauma, attachment needs, and physical disabilities.
